Originating in 1969 from a traditional cassava starch workshop and officially established as an enterprise in 1994, HUNG DUY has developed into one of Vietnam’s professional manufacturers and exporters of tapioca starch, building a reputable brand with a strong presence in both domestic and international markets.
Tapioca starch is a fine white starch product extracted 100% from fresh cassava roots.
Modified tapioca starch is produced through the modification of native cassava starch to enhance its functional properties and increase the overall value of the product.
Located in Tay Ninh Province – the fertile agricultural region of Southern Vietnam known as the “cassava capital” of the country, with the highest cassava yield and productivity nationwide and a central role in Vietnam’s cassava cultivation map. This region has also been the birthplace and foundation for the sustainable development of Hung Duy since 1969.
All Hung Duy Starch factories are located within specialized cassava cultivation areas of Tay Ninh Province. This strategic location ensures that 100% fresh cassava roots are processed immediately after harvest, enabling a stable year-round supply capacity and the production of high-quality starch products that meet international standards.
Hung Duy Starch operates a system of large-scale modern factories in Tay Ninh, the key production hub of Vietnam’s cassava industry. Together with a finished goods warehouse system with a total capacity of over 50,000 tons, we ensure consistent year-round supply and deliver reliable solutions for customers at any time.
Hung Duy has also established long-term production and procurement partnerships with local cassava farmers through stable purchasing and contract farming policies. This model forms a sustainable supply chain that harmonizes the interests of factories and farmers while contributing to the development of the local agricultural economy.
